Thrift store shopping for Miss Antiquity

Meg and I went thrift shopping at Value Village in Redmond last
weekend to find a costume for her upcoming school play "Heehaw
Hayride". She'll be playing a 150 year old hillbilly woman named
Antiquity Wormwood. This wig has nothing to do with that of course-
was just for fun!

Another trip to the Dr

Our peds office has chalkboards in each exam room and Beck and Meg
were taking advantage of the free time. Shows just how tall our boy
has grown!

Victory!

I found a way for Beck to eat his veggies- by covering them in
spaghetti sauce! For the first time in awhile, he ate 1/2 cup of
broccoli, asparagus and peas. One small bite of lunch for Beck, one
big veggie victory for mommy!

I get it now

I used to wonder if all of those "rides for a quarter" plastic cars,
trucks and random animals in malls were worth anything to anyone? This
week Beck has "ridden" (a loose term for getting on while mom watches
and doesn't spend a dime because he's just as amused for free) 6 of
them! Must find inside, toddler stimulating entertainment during so
many months of rain!

I think I hear the ocean...

We went to Meg's speed stacking meet today and Beck got a little
distracted by the props. (see "speed stacking" on YouTube). Meg was
glad for the support!
